Doing Transatlantic Business in Aerospace Defense The Greater Washington Initiative (GWI) will host an invitation-only exclusive conference at the Paris Air Show, featuring The Honorable Michael Wynne, Secretary of the U.S. Air Force. Speakers will highlight procurement trends and opportunities for aerospace defense business on both sides of the Atlantic. Top executives of Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Thales, and BAE Systems will discuss best practices for transatlantic defense business and highlight opportunities for partnership. GWI will also release their new study, Greater Washington DC’s Aerospace and Defense Assets. Increasing Business through Global Partnerships GWI and the World Cities Alliance will host a conference and networking event on how to increase your business and set up a presence in the U.S. and Europe. Speakers will include senior executives from Lockheed Martin, Aurora Flight Sciences, and Cefival, who will share why their companies benefit from having a presence in Greater Washington, Paris and Zurich. Economic Development Executives from each region will highlight aerospace and technology assets, trends, and resources. GWI will also release their new study, Greater Washington DC’s Aerospace and Defense Assets. Setting up a Presence in the U.S. GWI will host one-on-one meetings with companies interested in setting up a U.S. presence.
