The Greater Washington Initiative (GWI) has released a first-ever, online directory based upon a survey of Greater Washington’s research and development facilities. This unique business resource highlights the Greater Washington region’s diverse array and quantity of research assets. The directory’s 127 firms employ 81,151 people – about half the size of Greater Washington’s employment in the finance, insurance and real estate industry.
