Greater Washington Initiative to Host Educational Sessions at FOSE 2005 in Washington, DC, April 5-7
WASHINGTON , DC , March 28, 2005 – The Greater Washington Initiative (GWI) will host a series of educational sessions at FOSE 2005, which is being held April 5-7 at the Washington Convention Center.
FOSE 2005 is the nation’s largest information technology exhibition serving the government marketplace. Now in its 30th year, more than 500 exhibitors and 20,000 attendees will come together at FOSE 2005 to share information, forge partnerships and advance the goals of government IT.
About 80 percent of the attendees will represent federal civilian, federal defense and state and local government agencies. More than 90 percent of these government attendees have the authority to make purchasing decisions.
In addition to the educational sessions, GWI will use the exhibition to release the findings of its major new study of the information technology and communications sector in the Greater Washington region. GWI will also host a reception for international companies attending the exhibition.
The GWI educational sessions will cover the following topics:
Speakers will include top U.S. and international business executives, U.S. government officials, business development specialists from the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada, and consultants specializing in government technology markets.
