Interactive Ink Opens New DC Office: Company Receives Federal Contracting Preferences
June 22, 2006; Washington , DC – Interactive Ink, Inc., an interactive marketing agency based specializing in improving under-performing websites, announced that it has been qualified as a HUBZone small business concern by the Small Business Association. This qualification provides Interactive Ink with the ability to help federal agencies meet their HUBZone contracting goals. HUBZone refers to Historically Underutilized Business Zone.
This HUBZone certification is granted to small businesses, like Interactive Ink, that are located in urban and rural communities to encourage economic development and employment. Small businesses that receive this qualification are also given Federal contracting preferences.
Interactive Ink currently holds government contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense and the Ohio Department of Health, but they plan to expand their portfolio of government clients.
“With the help of the Greater Washington Initiative, we have recently opened an office in Washington, D.C. to pursue new Federal agency work.” said C.E.O., Tom Rausch. “We hope this qualification allows us to get in front of more government organizations and show them what we can offer to make their website easier to manage and navigate.”
In addition to the HUBZone qualification, Interactive Ink also received a GSA Contract to make doing business with local, state and national government agencies easier. Interactive Ink has offices in Columbus, OH and Washington, D.C. Both offices are located in HUBZones.
