The City of Alexandria, Virginia, is an historic and picturesque city situated on the banks of the Potomac River. The City is known for being a corporate headquarters center for national, international, regional and divisional operations in a diversity of fields ranging from aerospace to telecommunications.

Alexandria is home to Northern Virginia's second largest concentration of technology operations. And the City has become the nation's fourth largest center for national trade and professional association headquarters. A cross-section of corporate headquarters in the City include Time Life, Inc., the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) and Microdyne Corporation. In addition, there is a growing community of U.S. headquarters of international companies, including Trados, Jane's Information Group and Fokker Aerospace.
