Special events and concerts choices range from a free performance daily at the John F. Kennedy Center ’s Millennium Stage, to frequent summer concerts in the region’s parks, to multi-cultural festivals in the fall.
Each year, the National Park Service issues an average of 4,000 permits for events on the National Mall in DC, which serves as the ever-popular “nation’s stage.”
